This musical project is the magical child of a vibrant and growing community.  We have all attended summer festivals and been changed by the experience.  Organizing and delivering this festival is a manifestation of our desire to share the magic of music.

Music is our first language as humans, some think it came before language.  The experience of the bon fire and the drumming is an ancient one. Our bodies remember the experience from the inside out.  The fire becomes the centre of the universe as the beat comes up through your feet from the ground, the sound of the foot falls of the dancers are felt in one’s very bones.  Moving and dancing becomes as simple and effortless as breathing.  When all is spent one can go to sleep under the canopy of the whispering pines or lie in soft warm sands to watch the stars until the sun rises.

We feel that music, which is vibratory sound, holds much magic for all living things.  Music can lift the spirit, cleanse the soul, help plants to grow and sooth the angry beast.  Music will open the mind, leave sadness behind and release the harbored feelings that keep us distanced from the sublime.

Were you aware that the cells of wood within a guitar will align them selves after years of playing it?  This is the beauty and magical power of music.  Shamans use it to heal, chanters and visionaries use it to feel.  Let us create a place where music is magic with a circular happy face!
